The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 14, reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will both struggle now that their relationships have blown up.
Carter and Steffy will no doubt do some commiserating now that they’re dealing with a lot of pain.
After Steffy found out John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) flew to Monaco with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and didn’t tell her, she was hurt and furious.
Finn also defended Sheila a bit during their beach confrontation, so Steffy decided she was done.
In a total soap drama queen moment, Steffy removed her ring and shoved it at Finn.
Now Finn is in panic mode while Steffy’s drinking her way back to Los Angeles on the first commercial flight home.
It’s obvious that Steffy is on a collision course with Carter, whose own marriage just crumbled in a very different way.
Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) announced that she’s leaving for Paris since her diagnosis has broken her heart beyond repair.
That means that when Steffy comes moping back to LA, she’ll find an equally mopey Carter.
B&B is clearly setting the stage for these two characters to come together for some mutual support.
You can bet Carter will comfort Steffy over all the Finn and Sheila drama soon enough.
In return, Steffy can console Carter over Daphne’s departure decision as well.
On Friday’s episode, Carter will make a promise as he continues to reel over Daphne’s Paris news.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter will hope that he can somehow help Daphne move forward, but he’ll also worry since she’s pushing him away.
Meanwhile, Steffy might stop by Forrester Creations and bump into Carter, so that could give them a chance to open up to each other.
Steffy’s been throwing back drinks – and Carter may soon throw a few back, too. Could Carter and Steffy sizzle in a sad, drunken state?
This could lead to a kiss or even a full-blown passionate encounter, so it’ll be interesting to see where things go between Steffy and Carter from here.
