The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) may have just sealed her own fate.
Katie is feeling triumphant after another successful fashion show, but is she going overboard when it comes to all her gloating?
In the April 27 episode, Katie tried to convince Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to congratulate her.
Brooke couldn’t give Katie the sincerity she was after, so she accused her sister of driving her stiletto right into her heart!
Even so, Katie isn’t letting Brooke’s attitude get her down.
Since Katie doesn’t believe Brooke is capable of applauding her success and truly meaning it, she’s choosing to pat herself on the back instead.
Katie feels like Logan’s first collection has put them on the map.
Although Katie acknowledged that it’s too bad that Eric Forrester (John McCook) is gone, she assured Brooke that Logan is here to stay.
Katie told Brooke to be careful and be warned since “there’s a new game in town.”
It’s clear that Katie’s envisioning a bright future for herself, even if Brooke wants to trample all over her dreams.
“There’s a new fashion queen, and she’s on the rise! Brooke Logan, you’ll always be iconic, but you’re yesterday.
The Logan they’re talking about now is me: Katie Logan,” Katie declared.
Katie deserves this moment to shine, especially since she really hasn’t done anything wrong.
Brooke can rant about “stolen designs under a stolen name” all she wants, but Katie is a Logan and has obtained everything legally.
Although the show previously suggested Eric only had a verbal agreement with Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), that’s changed based on the latest dialogue.
There were multiple lines highlighting that Eric indeed signed a contract, so those designs were Katie’s fair and square.
Katie isn’t a thief since Eric volunteered to give her those designs and then locked in a contract to make it happen.
Likewise, Katie didn’t steal the Logan name for her fashion house; she scooped the use of her own name after Forrester let the trademark expire.
There are good reasons to be “Team Katie” in all of this, but that doesn’t mean she’ll come out on top in the end.
B&B never lets Brooke lose indefinitely, so Katie’s gloating may be setting up her own downfall.
Of course, Katie may achieve a few more victories in the meantime, especially if she manages to bring Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) over to Logan.
Even so, the more Katie delivers all this “new fashion queen” talk, the more likely it becomes that she’s headed for disastrous news sooner or later.
Brooke may ultimately have her own fashion queen status restored while Katie once again loses to her sister.
