The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will face a shocker that’s sure to leave him concerned.
Once Ridge finds out Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is serving as Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne Rose Walton’s (Murielle Hilaire) surrogate, he’s going to have some strong opinions.
Daphne has been gushing to Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) about the mystery woman who could make her family dream a reality.
Taylor and Ridge are hoping things work out for Daphne, but they have no idea their own daughter has agreed to the surrogacy.
Since Steffy has been so out of sorts lately, Taylor has repeatedly gone to Ridge with her worries.
After the news breaks about Steffy playing surrogate, Ridge and Taylor will likely assume this is why she’s been so pensive and upset.
Taylor and Ridge may think Steffy hasn’t been herself because she’s been wrestling with this huge decision.
Of course, by the time Ridge and Taylor discover the surrogacy, Steffy and Carter may be selling the lie that the embryo transfer was a success.
Ridge is awfully protective of Steffy and may have a negative reaction when he learns she’s pregnant with Carter’s baby.
It’s easy to imagine Ridge confronting Carter privately and pushing for some answers about how all this happened.
That could leave Carter squirming since this surrogacy is just a cover-up strategy.
Steffy and Carter want to keep a lid on how they actually conceived this child, so B&B spoilers say that’ll require more deception.
Carter will have to lie right to Ridge’s face as he gets grilled about the surrogacy process.
Ridge may ultimately accuse Carter of pressuring Steffy into this when her marriage was already on fragile ground.
The fact that Steffy and Carter left John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) out of the loop on the implantation could certainly be an issue for Ridge.
Carter is Ridge’s best friend, so he may express disappointment in him for derailing Steffy’s life.
Ridge may suspect Carter pushed Steffy too hard and made her feel obligated to help him along with Daphne.
That part’s not too far from the truth since Carter has definitely been pressuring Steffy, but Ridge obviously won’t have all the facts.
Nevertheless, Ridge may blast Carter over this whole situation, especially since Steffy’s marriage is about to take another hit.
