The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has more tricky situations ahead thanks to the surrogacy deception she signed up for.
Steffy and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will have to keep lying their way through this, so let’s talk about the continued drama.
Carter and Steffy already faced some nerve-wracking moments at the hospital, where Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) insisted on trying to hear the heartbeat.
It was surprising for Li and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to hear one so strongly this early in the pregnancy.
Of course, B&B fans know that’s because Steffy is a lot further along than Finn, Li and Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) think.
That fact will become more difficult to cover up as this storyline moves forward.
Steffy will inevitably have an ultrasound appointment at some point, which Daphne may want to attend.
Perhaps Steffy will find some excuse to keep Daphne away and just deliver a printed sonogram later.
Steffy has already been concerned about how they’re going to sell this considering the timing of her pregnancy doesn’t add up.
However, Carter has assured Steffy that he knows people who can help make this work.
With the assistance of a devious doctor, Steffy could use some other pregnant woman’s printed sonogram for her fake-out.
That would give Steffy an image to show Daphne and Finn of a more appropriately sized baby.
Finn is a doctor who would surely notice if the baby is much larger than he or she is supposed to be.
That’s something Steffy can get away with further down the line when she pretends labor’s happening early, but a fake sonogram would be helpful to keep up the ruse for now.
In other words, Steffy’s actual sonogram would be a huge giveaway about the baby’s conception happening sooner than she’s claiming.
Steffy may have to lie with a different ultrasound image instead to keep the surrogacy lie going!
