The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have a couple of important family members in attendance once her wedding gets underway.
Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) and Coco Spectra (now played by Ashley Campbell) will both show up in time to watch Sally tie the knot.
Y&R fans may recall that Shirley is Sally’s beloved grandmother.
Although Shirley first appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2017-2018, she popped up in some 2021 video calls after Sally traded Los Angeles for Genoa City.
Coco Spectra is Sally’s younger sister and was played by Courtney Grosbeck during her initial run on B&B from 2017-2018.
Now Coco is being recast, so look for Ashley Campbell to make her first appearance in the role on Y&R this October.
That’s also when Shirley will make a soapy comeback, so she’ll be joining Coco for Sally and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) nuptials.
It’s good to know that Sally will have some loved ones in her corner when her big day arrives.
Of course, Coco’s name has been mentioned lately since she had surgery off-screen not too long ago.
Sally caught a flight and raced off to support Coco like a good sister should, so they’ve already reconnected a bit.
However, it’ll be great to actually see Sally and Coco interact.
Patrika Darbo is a ton of fun as Shirley, so fans will be eager to watch her smother Sally with love as well.
There’s a good chance Sally will go into labor during the wedding festivities, so Shirley and Coco will hopefully meet the newest member of their family once the baby’s born.
Sally is sure to have a very eventual October, so stay tuned for any shocking news that might shake things up along the way.
