The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Monday, October 12, indicates that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will face a shocker that she never saw coming.
Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will be busy going into stalker mode across town.
There’ll also be some surprising news for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so let’s talk about what Y&R has in store.
At the GCAC, Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) will hang out with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) before Phyllis comes over with an announcement.
Phyllis will reveal that she now owns the athletic club and will be hosting the wedding.
Billy will arrive and learn about Phyllis’ new club ownership too, so he’ll do some mild bickering with her.
However, Billy and Phyllis will try to wish each other well in the end.
In a moment alone with Sally, Billy will face a record-scratch moment and want to be sure he heard her right.
Sally will admit she wants to follow tradition and spend the night apart from her groom before their wedding day.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will settle on a way to throw everyone off the trail.
Kyle will make a pitch about a fake public confrontation and pretending to loathe each other.
Victoria will get started on the act when she meets up with Nikki and gripes about Kyle being smug.
Nikki will be eager to go up against Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), so she’ll agree when Victoria suggests reviving the Vibrante-Jabot social media conflict.
As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll voice concerns about Kyle spending too much time at work.
Jack will basically order Kyle to get a personal life and take some time for himself.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll be caught off guard in the best way possible when Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) admits he wants to work together.
Daniel will mostly want to keep an eye on his mother, but he’ll miss Phyllis as well and get a warm embrace.
At Society, Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) will speak with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about Matt’s car accident.
It turns out Matt’s prints were discovered in an empty vehicle 100 miles away.
Burrow will offer info on a small amount of blood being in the car.
The detective will also indicate that the passenger side door was left open and assume Matt must’ve been traveling with someone.
When Nick points to Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) as Matt’s traveling partner, Burrow will wonder why he wasn’t informed since Matt was aiding and abetting a fugitive.
At Sharon’s cottage, she’ll get a phone call and repeatedly ask who’s calling.
It’ll be Matt, but he won’t identify himself and will ultimately hang up.
Once Nick comes over to Sharon’s house to tell her about Matt’s car accident, she’ll mention the phone call and wonder if it was Matt.
Nick will be uneasy over Matt potentially making a Genoa City comeback.
At the Riverbank Motel, Matt will question why he worked so hard to prove himself when it got him nowhere.
After Matt flashes back to a conversation with Sharon about second chances, he’ll act like maybe she could still give him one.
Matt will eventually decide it’s wrong to put a halo on Sharon.
Although Sharon doesn’t want Matt’s blood on her hands, he’ll still think she’d celebrate if he were dead.
Matt will realize his days of playing the hero are done, so his storyline will come with more twists and turns!
