The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, October 19, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will realize she’s in labor and deliver a shocker to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also, Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) will suffer a major medical episode, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.
At the wedding, Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) will suddenly appear and give Sally a delightful surprise.
Since Sally’s great-aunt has a nurse to watch over her for a few days, “Grams” aka Shirley will be there to walk Sally down the aisle.
Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will say some beautiful vows from the heart before they exchange rings and share their first kiss as a married couple.
Even Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will seem like she finally believes in Sally’s love and devotion.
Next, Sally will head upstairs with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Coco Spectra (Courtney Hope) for some help getting into her reception gown.
Although Sally will struggle with a sharp pain, she’ll brush it off as the baby getting excited about the wedding festivities.
Back with Billy, he’ll mingle with the guests at the reception in the jazz lounge.
Adam will try to be civil and congratulate Billy, but Billy will reject his handshake and grumble as usual.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will dance with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and crack more jokes with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about marriage proposals.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll seem uncomfortable as Traci and Ashley regale her with stories about when Kyle was a little boy who liked being the wedding ringbearer.
Thanks to Ashley’s comments about fleeting youth, it’ll seem like Victoria is finally starting to consider the awkward age difference with Kyle.
Nevertheless, Kyle will steal a flirty moment with Victoria before Audra interrupts to quiz them about the Vibrante-Jabot social media feud.
Victoria and Kyle will assure Audra that it’s going to be explosive.
After Billy admits to Cane that he wishes Jill were there, Snapper Foster (David Hasselhoff) will reach out on a three-way phone call.
Billy and Cane will learn Jill was taken to the hospital due to a cardiac event.
Back in Sally’s suite, she’ll spend some time there alone since she’ll want to write a special note for Billy like the one he gave her.
Sally will eventually open the door to Adam, who’ll explain that he wanted to congratulate Sally in person and knew Billy wouldn’t like it if he saw them together.
Sally will worry something happened, but Adam will explain that Billy just always finds a way to twist his comments.
Adam will insist he genuinely wants Sally to be happy, but she’ll eventually double over in pain.
Sally will determine that this doesn’t feel like Braxton-Hicks and will think she’s actually in labor.
Moments later, Sally will admit her water broke, so Adam will be there as baby drama erupts.
