The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 17, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will make a risky choice while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) uses Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) marriage problems to his advantage.
For starters, Sharon will decide she needs to follow Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) lead and take the trip to Vegas. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) might even prompt that decision if he calls or texts Sharon to taunt her.
Matt might point out that Chelsea came to provide backup for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and wonder when Sharon’s coming to step up for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Perhaps Matt will point out that Nick’s in bad shape and could really use Sharon’s TLC right now!
Then again, maybe Chelsea will grow concerned once she realizes Adam is now missing along with Nick.
It might be Chelsea who delivers a disturbing report to Sharon, who’ll ultimately head to Vegas to become part of the rescue effort.
Whatever the case, Y&R spoilers say Adam will eventually awaken in captivity with Nick, so the brothers will have to stick together to get out of their latest Matt jam.
Back in Genoa City, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will celebrate a new beginning.
This may tie in with the job Lauren accepted at Summers Conglomerate.
Despite Michael’s previous reservations about Lauren taking the position, he may be happy for her as they presumably toast to the future on Friday’s show.
Jack will also enjoy dinner with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so Diane may spy them looking cozy and grow even more outraged with her husband.
Victor will come along at some point and help Diane teach Jack a vengeful lesson.
Jack may fume over Diane meeting with Victor to plot against him, so their marriage may suffer another setback.
Finally, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may have a chance to respond to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy revelation.
