In tonight’s NCIS:Sydney episode, there was an incident at the Australian vs American Naval Cricket Match. One American sailor hit the ball into a window of a warehouse nearby.

He went to go after the ball and he was electrocuted when he picked it up. It left him brain dead. He was still alive. It was just too late to return him to land of the living, His wife was an Australian.

She decided to take him off the machine. She knew that Matt would want to donate his organs. She was struggling with saying goodbye to him so Mackey stayed with her.

Together they watched the transfer. Or what they thought was the transfer. It turns out someone stole Matt’s heart. It was supposed to go to another hospital yet a man claiming to be Dr. Wilcox picked it up. There was no Wilcox associated with the delivery. There was a Dr. Wilcox was a top-rated surgery.

He was the best in his field and Mackey identified him as stealing the heart. It just didn’t make sense. He was rich on top of being successful. Its not like he needed to sell the heart on the black market.

They tried calling him. He wasn’t picking up. They then went to his house and asked them if they found her children. Her children went missing earlier in the day. She then got a call from someone disguising their voice saying they had her two kids. She wasn’t to report them missing.

She was told not to call authorities. They didn’t know that her phone was speaker and that NCIS heard everything. They easily figured out what was going on. Someone abducted the Wilcox children as a means of forcing their father to perform an off the books surgery.

The only question left was who wanted such a grudge? Wilcox’s wife said loved one of a patient had assaulted him a couple of months ago. They looked into it. They found out Gary Simms. Simms also known as Simmo had a teenage daughter named Violet. Violet was diagnosed with cancer.

They gave her an aggressive form of chemo and it worked. It wiped out the cancer. Then she developed a problem with her heart because of the medication she was on. She was moved to the top of the list before Wilcox took her off it.

They didn’t know why Wilcox did that. They were waiting for Violet’s files. Until then they were busy tracking down Simmo. They searched his house. He was their guy and he didn’t bother trying to hide it. He left out the schedule where he followed everyone from the Wilcox family. He stalked them for months.

Probably as far back when he assaulted the doctor for taking his daughter off the transplant list. He was armed and dangerous. He stashed those kids somewhere while preparing for his daughter’s surgery.

It’s why Wilcox was insisting on doing what he wanted. Wilcox brought the heart to Violet’s hospital. They were going to perform surgery in one of their OR. They abducted someone to handle the anesthesia. DeShawn spotted them. He quickly disguised himself as a nurse and he “assisted” with prepping Violet for surgery.

He actually had an earpiece in. Doc Rosie and his friend Nina helped explain what he saw. The stats weren’t good for this. Violet wasn’t healthy enough for surgery.

Not that it matter to the two men who were pushing ahead. They didn’t even care that Violet didn’t want to go ahead with the surgery. She spoke to DeShawn. He told her that the heart was stolen from someone else to be given to her. Violet wanted to give the heart back. She felt too guilty about the cost.

They also found out the real reason why she was taken off the list. She was too sick. Her body would reject any heart they give her. Dr. Wilcox’s crime was that he didn’t tell the father it was too late. Simmo still held onto hope.

A hope that died tonight. DeShawn couldn’t let the surgery go ahead. He made a play for the gun and Wilcox then grabbed it. He demanded to get his kids back and NCIS had it handled.

Simmo technically never kidnapped them. He merely paid the nanny five grand to turn her location off. She was so going get fired over this. Wilcox was meanwhile putting the gun down when Simmon grabbed it again. He demanded that the surgery go ahead. DeShawn reasoned with him by finally telling him the truth.

Violet wasn’t going to survive. By forcing the heart on her, it would be killing her sooner. Simmo finally gave up when he realized. He was arrested and DeShawn even wrote a letter suggesting light sentencing.

He wasn’t a bad man. He was more desperate father. The heart went to the person it belonged to. His name was Jonah. He was a dad. Jonah got to survive and Violet came to accept she was dying. She visited DeShawn afterwards. She had a gift for him. She also wanted to hear from him that Jonah was doing better.

DeShawn was kind to her and that’s what she will remember from this.

THE END!
