The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) just dropped a hint about Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) storyline and the trouble she could land in.
In the April 21 episode, Patty had a tense encounter with Diane, who ranted about Patty being part of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) disgusting abduction scheme.
Diane feels like Patty is as sick as ever despite her rehabilitation claims.
Unfortunately, Diane could be headed for a mental break of her own if Patty’s clue is any indication.
Patty played up the fairytale Abbott life that Diane managed to land and how she dressed herself up in good deeds, but she also insisted the cracks were starting to show.
“And when it collapses – and it will – you’ll be far more dangerous than I ever was,” Patty warned.
Doesn’t that sound like a rather ominous line of dialogue under the circumstances?
Patty has proven she’s an extremely dangerous woman over the years, but now she’s predicting Diane’s going to be even worse!
Perhaps we should listen to Patty and consider the possibility that Diane will indeed be driven off the rails.
Between this Patty mess and the jealousy plot Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may be cooking up with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Diane indeed has the potential to snap.
Nikki, Jack and Victor could face some danger of their own, but Patty might be the one most at risk.
Although Patty is sticking around Genoa City for now, Diane might make it her mission to get rid of her permanently down the road.
Could Diane ultimately fly off the handle and cause Patty’s grim fate?
That could lead to a cover-up and plenty of soapy drama, so it’s an option worth considering.
Of course, we wouldn’t put it past Patty to fake her demise and frame Diane for it either.
Since Diane also faked her death while suspects got accused, Patty might think it would serve her right.
Whatever the case, there must be a reason why Y&R’s highlighting the dangerous path that Diane may soon be on.
Will Patty’s life truly be at stake or will she simply set Diane up for a huge fall?
