Based on Y&R’s October 13 episode, Lily now realizes she doesn’t want to shut Cane out of the important stuff anymore.
Lily was wary of ruining all their fun, but Cane wants her to feel comfortable coming to him with any painful, serious drama, too.
Following Lily’s confession that her cancer may be back, Cane will feel even closer to her in the coming episodes.
This will deepen Lily and Cane’s bond since she’s trusting him to give her the support she needs.
Cane will come through for Lily when she wants to cry on his shoulder and distract her when she needs that instead.
Lily and Cane will be in sync going into this wedding, so it could lead to them taking a huge leap forward in their relationship.
Cane has made it clear that he’s ready to remarry Lily, so he might as well get the ball rolling on that.
Lily’s potential cancer crisis will make Cane treasure his time with her even more, so could he make a bold move at the wedding reception?
Although it’d be a little tacky to steal Billy and Sally’s spotlight, Cane may get swept in the moment and propose to Lily there anyway.
Likewise, Lily might get swept up in the moment enough to say yes!
Cane and Lily could take center stage briefly, but Billy and Sally may be too focused on each other to care.
Of course, it’s also possible Lily and Cane could keep things discreet with a quiet engagement in the corner somewhere.
Cane was just talking about marrying Lily again at the bachelor party, so it’s already been on his mind.
The desire to Lily will get even stronger now that she’s confessed this cancer scare, so Cane may not be able to resist popping the question ASAP.
