The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, May 4 to May 15, reveal that several Genoa City residents will face big challenges, so let’s discuss which one and what obstacles they’ll be up against.
During the week of May 4-8, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will inform Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he’s engaged to pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so that’ll give her second thoughts about letting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) drag Billy into legal drama.
Regardless of what happens with Billy, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) are about to get arrested over the fake emails that Victor’s cooked up.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will lose it over Cane being handcuffed right in front of her.
The timing will be terrible since Cane needs to be in New York to help Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), but he’ll promise he’s going to make bail and fix this.
Y&R spoilers say Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will step up for Phyllis in the aftermath of her own arrest, so Victor surely won’t be pleased about that.
As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll volunteer to weaponize Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) against Victor while Jack concentrates on repairing his marriage to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).
After Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) pumps Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) for information about her history, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will head back to Genoa City and get ready to shake things up again.
Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) drug addiction will also become a topic of conversation for some GC residents, so Phyllis may find out what he’s up against since she’ll worry about him.
Since Nick will ultimately tell Victoria a secret, he may come clean to his sister about his drug problems and his determination to overcome them.
Over with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), she’ll do something daring for Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) sake.
That could involve standing against Victor’s latest scheme since Cane’s arrest is delaying Malcolm’s treatment.
Next, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will quiz Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about his link to Riza Thomson (Tina Casciaini), but Adam may insist he only has eyes for Chelsea – even if he had to play along with Riza a bit during all the Vegas plotting.
Once the week of May 11-15 gets underway, Matt may make his presence known in GC and spook few people in the process.
Will Matt pretend he has memory issues to mess with his foes’ heads or will his revenge plot veer in a different direction instead?
Whatever the case, Sienna is sure to freak once she catches a glimpse of Matt in town.
It could lead to Sienna fainting or at least having a meltdown.
Back with Kyle, he’ll try to get Patty to help plot against Victor and Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) marriage.
Patty could indeed be a useful ally, so Kyle will hope he can convince her the idea is a good one.
Lily may find herself in a similar boat when it comes to her next pitch to Victor.
We may see Lily extend an offer to Victor and insist she wants a new prize for all her fake kidnapping trouble.
Lily might push for Cane’s charges to be dropped and suggest Victor can keep Chancellor instead of handing it over as promised.
Finally, conquering Nick’s drug addiction could prove more difficult than he ever could’ve imagined.
There’s the potential for Nick’s relapse with Matt back in Genoa City to stir the pot.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will bring some curveballs, so stay tuned for all the wild news and sneaky plans.
