The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, April 27 to May 8, reveal that several characters will be in crisis mode, so let’s discuss the storylines that are about to get even hotter.
During the week of April 27-May 1, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will learn he’s a bone marrow donor match for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), so he’ll spread the word and leave Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) thrilled.
As for Devon Winters (Bryton James), his anger level will be out of control after he finds out Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) plea deal will remain locked in.
Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will call Devon out for being so vengeful and insist whatever’s going on with him has to end.
After Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) makes it to the gas station in Vegas with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), they’ll try to help Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
However, the situation will take a scary turn when Nick collapses due to Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) intentionally bad drugs.
Since Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will ultimately show up, she may come through for Nick with some Narcan.
Once Nick is conscious again, Adam will push him to admit he needs real addiction help.
Back in Genoa City, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will delight Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with a special evening full of romance.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also stand her ground on fighting Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) despite his threats to put her in prison.
Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will hurl some threats of her own at Phyllis while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) preps for a court battle.
Meanwhile, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will get under Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) skin while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) presumably goes with his last resort strategy.
It looks like Jack and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will pretend they’re reconnecting romantically.
The goal will be to get Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Victor jealous enough to go back to their respective spouses.
As for Victor, he’ll want Nick’s confession.
After hearing Adam’s version of events, Victor may push Nick to admit he’s addicted to drugs and needs help to get off them.
Back with Sharon, she’ll still have some doubts about Sienna’s trustworthiness, but Noah will be thankful she came to his rescue along with Nick and Sharon’s.
The week of May 4-8 should bring Nikki’s concerns about Nick as well.
Nikki may feel guilty for not picking up on Nick’s addiction sooner since she’s been so focused on her own marriage turmoil.
Nick may have a rehab stint in his future, so Nikki should lean on Jack as she copes with that news.
That could make it even easier for Jack and Nikki to show off their fake romance, but could it take a real turn eventually?
Next, Cane will move full-speed ahead with donating his bone marrow for Malcolm’s treatment, so Lily will appreciate his willingness to step up fast following the match confirmation.
Finally, Sally may move forward with some doctor’s appointments related to her pregnancy and let it really sink in that this is happening.
Billy and Sally’s love for each other is only going to grow stronger on this baby journey.
