The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 27, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have a serious blowup over Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and questions surrounding his whereabouts.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also let their burning desires take control during a close moment together.
At Jabot, Victoria and Kyle will have another meeting to discuss their business battle and all the buzz it could generate.
It won’t be long until Kyle and Victor surrender to their spark, so they’ll make out and find themselves tempted to strip down for some office passion.
Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll stand by her belief that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) needs to prove he’s the right person to run Chancellor.
Can Billy offer evidence to convince Lily that he’s going to protect the company’s legacy?
Billy may hope to prove to Lily that he genuinely cares about Chancellor Industries and intends on taking things to the next level there.
Although Billy has been a screw-up in the past, he may insist this is his chance to really shine and show everyone he can rise to the challenge.
Of course, it may take more than Billy’s optimism to get Lily on board with handing over the company.
It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of this conversation goes and whether Billy can convince Lily to give him the win.
As for Phyllis, Y&R spoilers say her anger will bubble up when she realizes Matt has apparently vanished without a trace.
Phyllis won’t be able to find Matt anywhere or contact him over the phone, so she’ll assume the Newmans have taken action against him.
At the athletic club, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will join Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) for a Billy slam session before Phyllis interrupts.
Phyllis will push for an explanation now that Matt is missing, but Adam may insist he doesn’t know anything about that.
However, Adam will see Phyllis’ visible distress and realize she must’ve fallen pretty hard for Matt already.
It looks like Adam will taunt Phyllis about that news and perhaps warn it’s a mistake for so many reasons.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will ultimately put Victor through an interrogation, so stay tuned to watch him keep a tight lid on what he did with Matt.
It appears Matt has a maximum-security psych ward stint in his future since he’ll interact with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) again before the week’s over.
