The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, April 22, reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will land in a tight spot while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) causes more drama for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is putting his new plot in motion against Phyllis, Victoria may be eager to see if the first phase of it has thrown Phyllis off her game.
Since Victor and Victoria paid most of Phyllis’ remaining employees to resign, Phyllis no longer has the people she needs to run Summers Conglomerate.
Of course, Victor and Victoria also made sure that the suitable candidates to replace those employees would turn her down.
Now Phyllis is dealing with a company that could soon fall apart if she can’t figure out a solution.
However, the worst is yet to come since Victor has a new AI program that’s going to deliver criminal evidence against Phyllis to back her into a corner.
Y&R spoilers say Victoria will be on a fishing expedition in Wednesday’s episode.
There’s a good chance Victoria will taunt Phyllis over all the employee departures and wonder whether she’s ready to surrender yet.
Phyllis will inevitably stand her ground and insist this isn’t over, but Victoria may hint about the crushing blow to come and argue that Phyllis is indeed going down.
Victor will keep his word on Wednesday’s show, so he’ll follow through on his vengeful plans and all the destruction he’s vowed to cause.
Meanwhile, Nikki and Jack will have another bonding session, so that’ll set the stage for some trouble.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will come along and witness something that leaves her livid, so that’s obviously going to involve Jack and Nikki.
It turns out Diane will walk in on Nikki and Jack in a compromising situation.
The whole thing will seem rather scandalous from Diane’s perspective, especially since she’s still upset over what happened with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) on the yacht.
This will give Diane yet another reason to rip into Jack, but Nikki won’t be spared from Diane’s anger either.
