The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 20, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will put Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on the spot while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) deals with some growing concerns about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Although Billy has let go of his Chancellor obsession at this point, Sally will still fret over his history coming back to haunt him.
Billy got tangled up in all that drama with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), so his name is in the evidence that Victor fabricated.
Billy is clinging to hope that his part in all this will blow over, he can’t be certain of that yet.
Since Sally will be so on edge, Billy will work to calm her down – especially since she’s got a baby on the way.
Sally doesn’t need to be stressing out over this news, so that may be part of why Billy will ultimately pay Cane a visit on his train.
Perhaps Billy will want Cane to testify against Phyllis and make sure Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) understands that he wasn’t involved in the takeover at all.
Billy had a chance at grabbing Chancellor in the aftermath, but he never actually acquired it.
While Billy tries to stop this mess from spiraling out of control, Victor will have a demand for Michael.
Since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is trying to strike a Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) deal behind Victor’s back, Victor will do his best to regain the upper hand.
Victor may want Michael to sabotage the deal and prove he’s still loyal to the Newmans instead of Phyllis.
Since Victor doesn’t want to give up this opportunity to get the Newman empire back, he’ll make that clear to Michael.
Instead, Victor may pressure Michael to help him capture Matt without letting Phyllis win.
Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will corner Nick and push for some answers about his recovery.
It looks like Victoria may catch Nick popping pills and realize he’s still using, so a major confrontation is coming up.
