The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 23, reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will come up with a way to help Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also deliver a shocker to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so some surprising moments are coming up in Genoa City.
Now that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has agreed to be Sally’s bridesmaid, Sally will fill Audra in on the news.
Of course, Audra will be alarmed over Sally making Chelsea the newest member of the wedding party.
Since Sally is the bride-to-be, she can obviously make whatever decisions she wants ahead of her nuptials.
Even so, Audra will feel like it’s her duty as Sally’s maid of honor to weigh in and warn that this is a giant mistake.
Audra obviously has issues with Chelsea since she helped Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) cheat on Sally and left her heartbroken.
Although Sally is happy with Billy now, Audra will still see the potential for disaster if Chelsea brings Sally to the wedding.
Sally may point out that Chelsea said Adam probably wouldn’t even want to come.
Sally might argue that she agrees and assume Adam will want to steer clear of this marriage ceremony considering their history.
Audra, on the other hand, may think Adam won’t be able to resist coming to the event to stir up drama.
Despite Audra’s concerns, Sally may contend that she’s already invited Chelsea and has no intention of rescinding that invitation.
The idea of enforcing a ban on Adam attending may not work for Sally either, so Audra will just have to deal with whatever happens.
As for Adam and Chelsea, they’ll talk about her bridesmaid invitation and whether he should be her plus one or not.
Adam will defer to Chelsea and make some sort of sacrificial move for her sake according to Y&R spoilers.
It’s possible Chelsea will want Adam to stay away from the festivities and get him to promise he won’t show up.
It’s also possible Chelsea will view this as a chance for them all to get along, so she might urge Adam to come and stay on his best behavior.
Regardless of what’s decided now, there’s a good chance Adam will play a key role in some wedding chaos that happens down the road!
In the meantime, let’s discuss Cane and his Billy rescue plot.
Cane will go above and beyond for Billy on Wednesday’s episode, so he may hope to save Billy from himself and keep him out of trouble ahead of his wedding.
This might also involve Cane’s attempt to make peace between Billy and Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) before his big day.
Cane might feel like both Jill and Billy will regret if they don’t find some path to reconciliation now.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will step up for Billy and hope for the best!
