Y&R fans know Billy uncovered some stunning news involving Chancellor. Since John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) loan was never repaid, the Abbott family should own the company at this point.
Billy decided to back off the issue temporarily since he needs to focus on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), their wedding and the baby.
However, Billy plans to resume his fight for Chancellor once his son or daughter is born.
This story isn’t over and could lead to more explosive shockers getting unearthed.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) have considered the possibility that there’s an even bigger secret to find.
In an interview with TV Guide, Jason Thompson hinted about the curveballs ahead.
Thompson pointed to “ripple effects” that could play out for decades and promised that “something pretty serious” will go down with Jill.
What if this is related to something else that Jill might be hiding from Billy? Could the show be gearing up for a jaw-dropping paternity change?
It’s possible Jill has another medical crisis on the way.
If Jill believes she’s on her deathbed and wants to get everything off her chest, that might be a good reason to confess that Billy isn’t really John’s son.

After all the years of Billy feuding with Victor, that would be quite a twist and would definitely rock his world.
Billy wants to claim Chancellor for the Abbotts, but what if he’s not an Abbott at all?
If Billy is actually a Newman, that could send him on another downward spiral.
Of course, it’d be a little icky for Billy to discover this information now considering his history with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the family they previously built together, but maybe that’s why Jill has kept quiet for so long.
Regardless, it would certainly be soapy if Billy learned he was Victor’s son, so we’ll see if a November sweeps shocker might be looming.
