The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, April 16, reveals that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will make a bold move against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) delivers some news that’ll rock Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) world.
After Billy calls Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to let her know the London trip is getting pushed back, he’ll catch up with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Society.
Billy will get the feeling that Sally is hiding something before he quizzes Jack about his marriage.
Jack will grumble about all his failed efforts to get through to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), especially after he forgave her for faking her own demise.
Billy will understand Diane’s perspective somewhat since it must be hard for Diane to get the image of Jack and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) out of her head.
Jack will decide to keep trying before heading back to the Abbott mansion, where Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will admit Diane came by to pick up more of her things.
When Kyle worries about Jack giving up on Diane, Jack will suggest it may not matter if she’s already given up on him.
It takes two people to repair a relationship, so Jack will remain discouraged.
Once Kyle leaves, Jack will get Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on the phone to make some dinner plans.
Next on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Sally will struggle to open the pregnancy test as she gets support from Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Audra will tell the story of her miscarriage with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and understand Sally’s own baby loss is on her mind.
After Sally finally takes the test, she’ll come back out and reveal that the results were positive.
Sally will have a hard time wrapping her head around that shocker, but Audra will give her a pep talk.
Once Billy returns home and shares a moment alone with Sally, she’ll admit she’s pregnant and leave him looking stunned.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will do her best to talk Noah out of heading to Las Vagas, but Noah will be concerned over Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Adam and now Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) not getting in touch.
There’ll also be some talk about Devon Winters (Bryton James) petitioning to have Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) plea agreement reviewed, so Noah will fret over his sister.
After Audra shows up looking upset, Noah will join her at a table on the patio.
Audra will admit she’s been thinking about their time in London and the baby, so Noah will end up giving her a comforting hug.
In Vegas, Chelsea and Adam will call Matt out for lying about Nick being dead from an overdose.
After Adam grabs Matt and threatens him, Chelsea will point out that they’ll never get Nick answers if Adam throttles him.
Adam will demand to see Nick, so Matt will finally agree to take him to Nick’s corpse.
However, Matt will shut down Chelsea’s attempt to go too and leave her to compare notes with Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani).
Chelsea will lash out at Riza over her connection to Matt and make it clear that she doesn’t trust her.
With that in mind, Chelsea will insist that Riza had better pray Nick is found alive!
After Matt leads Adam to the storage room, Adam will stoop down and try to awaken unconscious Nick.
That’s when Matt will knock Adam out from behind and leave him trapped in the storage room with Nick.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Nick will have another mess on their hands, so stay tuned.
