The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 28, indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is used to being able to play fixer, but he won’t be able to do that for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as her world crumbles down around her.
Nikki tried not to get her hopes up too high in case her bandage removal didn’t turn out the way she wanted.
Even so, Nikki wasn’t fully prepared for the reality of the situation to hit her so hard.
It was a crushing blow when Dr. Nowling (Doug Tompos) removed the bandages and left Nikki still totally in the dark.
Nikki smashed a mirror in the aftermath and will have another difficult outburst soon enough.
On Tuesday’s Nikki-centric episode, she’ll spin out once more and leave Victor feeling powerless to help her.
Victor would give anything to take Nikki’s pain away, but he can’t magically fix her optic nerve.
That’s something that has to heal on its own, but Nikki knows there’s a chance her vision may never return.
Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) knows that too, so that’s why she’s been frustrated over Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) living in denial and refusing to accept anything but positivity.
However, Victoria might have the right approach after all since Nikki is on the verge of a major vision breakthrough.
After Y&R delivers an episode that’s all about Nikki’s heartache, her optic nerve should finally heal enough for some vision restoration.
Things may not be crystal clear at first, but Nikki will finally have some hopeful news during the week of July 27-31.
In fact, Nikki might get the first sign of her dream coming true by the time Tuesday’s episode wraps up.
Nikki’s blindness has been one of the toughest challenges she’s ever had to tackle, but pure bliss is just around the corner.
Since we know Nikki’s vision will ultimately return and that she’ll fully reunite with Victor, her life is going to change in some amazing ways.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say things will be looking up for Nikki soon, so she’ll swim out of the sea of sadness ahead.
