The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 19, indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t get the deal she was hoping for.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will also receive some unexpected news while Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) tackles a difficult mission.
At Mariah’s psychiatric facility, she’ll be nervous when Devon Winters (Bryton James) pushes for a surprise meeting.
Devon will wind up passing along something to Mariah, so that may involve Dominic’s homemade card and some well wishes.
Dominic is still an innocent kid and thankfully doesn’t seem traumatized by the abduction drama.
It was just a hide-and-seek game that went on too long from Dominic’s perspective.
Devon may admit Dominic has been concerned about Mariah and even asked to see her.
Despite all Devon’s lingering anger, he may acknowledge that it’s not good for him and wonder how he’s supposed to get past what Mariah did.
Devon is having a hard time with Mariah not facing punishment behind bars, but he may see things differently once they talk through all this.
Mariah will have a chance to open up about the therapy she’s receiving along with her regrets, so Devon may soften a bit.
Even if forgiveness isn’t possible, Devon may not shut the door on it entirely.
That doesn’t mean Devon will allow Mariah to be around Dominic anytime soon, but he may confess that he’s rooting for her to get back to her old self.
Other Y&R spoilers say Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will have reasons to worry about Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) since he’ll apparently go MIA for a while.
Daniel will compare notes with Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) as a result.
Since Christine will be furious over Phyllis trying to circumvent justice with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) leverage, it sounds like these rivals will have another showdown.
Daniel may land in the middle of it since he’ll be on a mission to play peacemaker.
Of course, Daniel may end up just as outraged as Christine once he hears the details.
Phyllis is hoping to hand Matt over to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in exchange for dropped charges and locking in Summers Conglomerate’s future.
It doesn’t seem like that plan will work out since Christine won’t be willing to budge when it comes to the charges.
Phyllis has lost track of Matt, so it’s not like she can keep her end of the bargain right now anyway.
As for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll help Matt deal with his enemies.
It looks like Matt may get tied up at some point during the week of May 18-22, but Patty will apparently pop up to free him.
