The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for week of August 10-14 reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be tempted to lock lips in an upcoming scene together.
Some exciting things are brewing in Genoa City, so let’s talk about all the drama happening in the show’s weekly promo.
Y&R’s weekly preview clip kicks off with Devon Winters (Bryton James) seeming unburdened and in much better spirits.
Devon can be seen at Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) penthouse, where he prepares for a big announcement with Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) by his side.
“I have something to tell you guys – something to tell you guys that’s gonna change your lives!” Devon tells Lily and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in the weekly promo.
Devon previously hinted about the kind of man his hefty inheritance had turned him into.
It’s possible Devon will spread that wealth around to his loved ones and perhaps their favorite charities, too.
Then again, Devon may announce something else instead, but the point is he’ll seem happier following his huge decision.
It’s clear that Devon will think he’s found a path forward that’ll help him get out of the funk he’s been in.
Speaking of being in a funk, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be in one after lying about going back to rehab.
It looks like Nick will hole up at a gross motel with drugs instead and cross paths with a woman named Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow).
Although Nick will point out that he came there to be alone, Marie will suggest he should just relax and that maybe they could end up having the time of their lives.
Marie will tempt Nick further down the road to trouble while Victoria and Kyle deal with some temptation of their own.
At Crimson Lights, Victoria will cry in Kyle’s arms as she presumably frets over Nick’s relapse and downward spiral.
Kyle will comfort Victoria with a hug, but things will take a sizzling turn soon enough.
In the preview clip, Victoria and Kyle lean in like they’re dangerously close to kissing.
Of course, this lines up with the behind-the-scenes leak that CDL previously reported about Kyle and Victoria having an almost smooch.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victoria and Kyle will pull back for now, but bad news could be brewing if they surrender to a real kiss next time!
