The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Will Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) accept the Newman Media takeover gift and join Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) on the sinister side?
Up to now, Sally’s been trying to steer Billy away from his obsession with Chancellor and revenge on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
However, Billy’s new plan could either make things better or much worse!
In exchange for helping Phyllis take over the Newman empire, Billy wants Chancellor for himself and Newman Media for Sally.
In Y&R’s February 10 episode, Phyllis assured Billy that he’d get both of those things once she hacked the system to transfer ownership.
According to Phyllis, Victor and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) are the only ones who’ll get screwed over.
However, we have to consider Sally’s reaction to the shocking news ahead.
How will Sally feel about Billy’s latest alliance with Phyllis and the lengths they’ve gone to?
More importantly, how will Sally react to the Newman Media gift that Billy’s set to offer her if they pull this off?
Phyllis pointed out that it’d be a heck of a Valentine’s Day present for Sally.
Since Billy will indeed work hard to impress Sally on the romantic holiday, that may be when he’ll give her updates on the Newman Media situation.
Billy may insist Newman Media is Sally’s if she wants it and argue that it could be folded into Abbott Communications to take it to the next level.
Perhaps Billy will argue that this doesn’t have to be a situation where he’s choosing between Sally or their business goals.
Billy may insist they can have it all if Sally’s willing to get down in the mud with him and see that this is what the Newmans deserve.
Sally might balk initially, but maybe a tense interaction with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could change her mind.
We know that Sally and Chelsea have a fierce faceoff ahead, so Chelsea may rile Sally up and convince her that Billy is right.
Adam may get involved and anger Sally as well depending on what he says.
Sally may determine that she wants a little revenge of her own after the way everything went down when Adam cheated with Chelsea.
Between that and any other tension that’s on the horizon, Sally may finally be ready to join Billy and return to her scheming roots.
