Her mother may have been responsible for more fashion faux pas than she cares to remember over the years, but that isn’t stopping Princess Beatrice trying to establish herself as a style icon. The 19-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York is planning to set up her own clothing line and has already started sketching some designs for her first collection. Beatrice came up with the idea to launch her own designer label just months ago when she hatched the plan with a girlfriend.
“It was Beatrice’s idea,” says a friend. “She has always loved clothes and has an innate sense of style. She has said she is going to start up her own line of clothing and plans to call it Bobcat. Source
