It’s Not Nice To Steal From Posh!

Don’t steal from the Beckham’s – two housekeepers are learning their lesson.  Apparently they were working at a mansion owned by David Beckham and  Victoria/Posh and stole things.  Well now they have been arrested on suspicion of theft, reports said.

Newspaper reports on Tuesday said items belonging to the Beckhams, turned up for sale on eBay.   The housekeepers are suspected of doing the deed.  Police said they are looking into allegations of theft from a private address in Hertfordshire, north of London, where the Beckhams have a home.  They confirmed a 56-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, from Essex, east of London, have been arrested and released on bail.

A pal said about the Beckhams: “They are both very shaken. The idea someone has been rifling through their personal possessions is bad enough, but to think it is allegedly people they trusted so much is even more horrific. Tony and Jackie (Victoria’s parents) were tipped off about some of David and Victoria’s possessions appearing on eBay. They recognised the items as ones which had either been given to David and Victoria or bought by them and placed in their home. When they checked out the house they discovered items matching those being offered for sale were missing and called in the police.”

A spokesman for eBay said: “We are working with police to establish the facts. We will not tolerate stolen items being listed on the site.”
