Bernie Hamilton was a dear friend of mine. He always would visit Detroit, to go into the studio, and record gospel music.
He was so intelligent, and full of fun, and laughter.I will miss
him calling me, when a lyric would pop up in his head, and he
would always ask me, how does it sound, I would reply, very
nice. He was extremely excited when he created the toy,
The Chocolate Snowman. The chocolate snowman, had llipops
for fingers, funny nuts for toes, a high silk hat, and spats,
was all he had for clothes. Pop locking, moon walking, go chocolate snowman go. Bernie sent his new toy, to many
special needs students, here in Detroit, where I teach School.
Bernie knew so many different languages, he was smart,
I miss him, and I know Bernie Hamilton, was One in a million.
To his family, may God bless you, and be with you through
this most difficult time. Rest , my dear friend, rest in peace.
Thank You -Marsha Chatman- Detroit, Michigan
