Lindsay Lohan Begs For Letter Of Recommendation From Morgue And Gets Refused

Lindsay Lohan asked for a letter of recommendation from the L.A. County Coroner’s Office for her morgue work. Lindsay and her legal team are hoping she doesn’t get sent to jail by Judge Stephanie Sautner Wednesday and so she is trying to soften the wrath of judge. But it won’t be a letter of recommendation for the morgue that does it since her request was refused.

TMZ says that their inside source discovered the news:  Lindsay pleaded with a supervisor at the L.A. County Coroner’s Office to write the letter on her behalf … touting that she’s been doing yeoman’s work at corpseville.

But our sources say her request got shut down before it reached the man in charge, Ed Winter, and even if it had … there’s no way Winter would have written the letter.

Lindsay’s legal strategy, concocted by her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is to concede that she violated her probation when she goes to court tomorrow. However, Judge Sautner made it crystal clear at the time of sentencing that if Lindsay violated probation she would go to jail – and Lindsay admits she violated her probation by getting kicked out of the her original community service program. Lindsay is hoping that by professing a new more serious attitude the judge will give her only 2 weeks inside.

We’ll find out what happens to Lindsay Wednesday afternoon, Eastern Time.
