India is the next stop for Paris Hilton‘s expanding business empire. Paris will travel to India to introduce her fashionable line of handbags and accessories in that populous nation’s Shoppers Stop department store chain.

Paris continues the family tradition of enterprising business development started by her great-grandfather, Conrad Hilton, the founder of the world-famous Hilton Hotel chain. Paris has been very busy recently in the Philippines where she launched her real estate career with a partnership in the Azure Beach Club and opened her 4th Paris Hilton Handbags and Accessories store in Manilla.

Indians are excited about the opportunity to purchase Paris’ collection of 17 product lines including fragrances, apparel, footwear, music albums, sunglasses, pet products, stationery, bedding and handbags.

There is no doubt that Paris has generated high expectations in the Indian business community. Devangshu Dutta who is CEO of the retail and consumer products consultancy Third Eyesight said: “Paris Hilton’s personality is likely to be aspirational to a consumer base that is below 30 years of age.”

Paris’ fashion collection is now featured in 30 stores across 35 countries including Philippines, Bahrain and Malaysia.
