The Real Housewives of Orange County returns to Bravo tonight with an all new episode. Tonight’s episode is called ‘Rumble In The Jungle’ and we will be live blogging the episode for you.
Things are really heating up on the show Alexis Bellino and Tamra Barney have been having a conflict and now this week the stress gets to Gretchen Rossi and she takes it out on her boyfriend Slade Smiley. There is a lot of tension between the two of them and Gretchen thinks a trip to Costa Rica just might be what she needs to chill out.
Tamara lets Heather and Terry know that she called Alexis out – she said, “I don’t like fake people. And she [Alexis] said something like, ‘Well, you’re the only who feels that way.’ And I said, ‘Oh no, I’m not…Terry!'” Yikes!
On tonight’s episode It’s fish-out-of-water time as the ladies travel to the rainforest of Costa Rica. Zip lining through the jungle canopy has the Orange County ladies screaming with excitement, while their shifting friendships have them screaming at each other.
Vicki’s erratic behavior has the others worried that she’s having a mental breakdown, while the collective whip comes down hard on Alexis as the group conducts a “makeshift intervention” to confront her on her phony lifestyle.

RECAP: This week’s episode begins with the girls planning on heading off on a trip to Costa Rica. This should be interesting, considering they can’t quite get along when at home so leaving the country can only lead to problems. First though, Tamra and Eddie sit down to dinner with Heather and Terry. They hash out last weeks fight between Tamra and Alexis. Basically, Tamra had told Alexis what everyone watching would agree with- Alexis is as fake as her boob job.
Next up, Alexis is attempting to pack for Costa Rica- a two day trip for her. The amount of clothing she’s packing is insane. She wants to look sexy for the monkeys in the rainforest. Unquote. Heather’s packing is totally different from Alexis’. Her husband is there and they seem like the real deal on this show. I can honestly say that I like Heather and Terry DeBrow. She knows he will take great care of their four kids while she’s away. Gretchen and Slade are fighting like crazy. He’s trying to help her pick out what to wear. Maybe Slade should stop trailing Gretchen and look for a real job to pay his real bills all on his own.
Heather and Alexis are the first to arrive at the airport, at 4am. Heather isn’t ready to deal with Alexis’ stupidity that early in the morning. It is a long haul but they finally make it to Costa Rica. The ladies sit down near the pool with a drink and start to chit chat. Of course Alexis starts talking money, jewelry and irritates everyone immediately. They can’t understand why she traveled 13 hours to stay only two days. The next morning everyone is up and ready to zip line. They are wearing tank tops and shorts, well, except for Alexis. She has an outfit on that makes her look like a zookeeper from Curious George.
Something is up with Vicki. Either she has been throwing back drinks or else she is trying WAY too hard to be the life of the party. The ladies are geared up and ready to zip line. Alexis is totally over the top and freaks out about taking her turn. I think the rest of the crew is over it and her nonsense. Heather is positive she’s looking for attention. Vicki is starting to really grate nerves too. She is singing kid songs and then getting upset about her daughters surprise wedding in Vegas.
Ah it’s dinner time. Some of the best scenes on this show take place when you put all these women around a table and just let them go. Alexis is picking up on all the tension but doesn’t seem to realize she’s causing it. Heather and Tamra are ready to rumble with Alexis. Vicki wants to sing at the dinner table and Tamra shuts her up. Out of nowhere Heather and Alexis decide to get into it. It always comes down to money with Alexis. Heather calls her on her materialisticness. All the girls start explaining what she does to appear pretentious and Alexis doesn’t appreciate it one bit. Even Vicki jumps in and says Alexis makes her feel like she is beneath her (Alexis). Tamra puts it best and tells Alexis to be a real person.
Next week’s episode is part two of the Costa Rica trip and it’ll start with a continuation of the dinner that went very wrong before food even made an appearance.
