Hot damn, simmer down Miley Cyrus! Naked boobies on display for realsies! Shot by Mario Testino, the Miley Cyrus W magazine spread is a bit on the raunchy side. It’s naturally titled, “The Emancipation of Miley” and features an interview with Miley as well as collaborator/producer Pharrell Williams, talking about her new album.
She’s photogenic. I’ll give her that. And she’s continuing this “I’m a true wild rocker and do cool shit like buzz off my hair and say f*** a lot” thing. There’s definitely a punk vibe going on.
I’m not a huge fan of the spread. The pic of her pulling her underwear up to where you can almost see some camel toe is disturbing to me for some reason. I don’t get it I guess. She can’t be tamed! We know! But I feel like Miley has been emancipated already. Hasn’t she already broken through the little girl cage? Whatever. I’m sure there’s some Liam Hemsworth message going on here too. But this was kinda what I was worried about when their relationship fell apart. I don’t want Miley to go the route of flashing her vadge now in some sort of misguided “I am woman hear me roar” nonsense. It’s so old. Keep your shit together and your clothes on and you’ll always be happier in the end. That always and will forever be sound advice.
What do you think of Miley Cyrus’ naked, topless photo spread? I’m not saying she doesn’t look hot. She obviously does. I’m just wondering why women have to take off their clothes to show people they’re powerful. Should Hilary Clinton do that before the next election cycle? Should she be taking notes?
