Well, this is definitely the way to stay on Donald Trump’s good side and I’m pretty positive that Omarosa Manigault knows it. What exactly did she do? Well while being interviewed by Access Hollywood she confirmed what many of us would have already guessed- the show isn’t real, it’s reality television. What’s the difference? Things really are set up and staged. Conversations and fights may be scripted. It’s all meant to create drama so that you and I will keep tuning in to see what happens next.
“There’s story lines. There is stuff going on. You know how manufactured these things are! I play hard. I go into the boardroom to win. You have to be strong in front of Donald Trump. You can’t be weak, you have to be bold.”
Her position is to put it simply, the show has been on for 13 seasons and surely by now people realize that it’s not exactly real. True boardroom scenes and honest business decisions would likely not be nearly as interesting as watching someone like Omarosa stir things up solely for the sake of pushing buttons and getting a big reaction. She likes the fact that people fear her because it means she comes across as a shrewd business woman and that is certainly a role that she wants to at least pretend that she has.
Will knowing that Celebrity Apprentice is fake cause you to stop watching? Did you suspect that it might not all be legit? Are you suspicious about reality television in general or do you like to think it’s as real as they say it is? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
