It does seem LeAnn Rimes is refusing to start a family. Is hubby Eddie Cibrian frustrated, furious, and threatening divorce? Starting a family with Eddie isn’t a priority in LeAnn’s life – at least not right now. However, it really hasn’t been on the top of LeAnn’s to-do list since the couple married in 2009.
Rimes enjoys being a stepmom to Eddie’s two boys, Mason, 12, and Jake, 8, according to an interview with In Touch. Even though LeAnn and Eddie discuss having a baby, LeAnn says, “I just don’t know if I’m ready for that yet.”
Will Rimes ever be ready to add to the Cibrian family? Right now, according to LeAnn, life is just fine and hopefully one day there will be another little Cibrian running around. But, and hear LeAnn clearly, having Eddie’s boys around half the time is plenty.
Eddie’s kids tell Rimes she’s the chill mom, and super cool. And Rimes thinks that’s just the biggest compliment ever. Cibrian’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville is probably going to freak out after reading that. The Twitter battles between Glanville and Rimes over the kids are legendary. The other thing that is most likely going to have Brandi ready to explode is that LeAnn told the interviewer, “I already feel like a mom.” Oh no she didn’t! Yes, LeAnn said it, but it’s nothing Rimes hasn’t said before.
Why doesn’t LeAnn Rimes want a baby right now? Why is Rimes dragging her feet over having a baby with Eddie Cibrian? It’s possible that LeAnn doesn’t want to get stuck having to shell out big bucks to Eddie if the couple divorces?
Cibrian hasn’t had a real job in years – the much hyped NBC series “Pan Am” was cancelled just weeks after its debut in September 2011. LeAnn is worth approximately $10 million – Eddie’s worth about $1 million – and that’s being generous, we think.
It’s not likely Eddie Cibrian would get full custody of any children from the marriage to LeAnn Rimes, but if you take a look at the actor’s past history you can guestimate that Eddie would at least go after spousal support. Especially if Cibrian were to claim he was the stay-at-home parent raising the kids while LeAnn was recording or touring.
