Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) situation is about to get even worse. Andre (Thaao Penghlis) played Hope’s murder confession in front of everyone at the Halloween fundraiser. Hope was promptly arrested and she’ll soon be arraigned. Unfortunately, the biggest bombshell still hasn’t dropped.
Rafe (Galen Gering) will work around the clock in hopes of securing Hope’s freedom. He’ll try everything he can possibly think of, but there’s just no solution. Hope is simply beyond help. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope will want to make a deal with Andre. She can’t save herself, but she’ll attempt to save her partners in crime.
Hope will suggest that Andre can have his victory. She won’t contest the charges, but she’ll need a favor in return. Since Andre only played a small portion of the recording, the public doesn’t know that Roman (Josh Taylor) and Rafe were involved in the cover-up. Hope would like to keep it that way.
Of course, Hope can’t be sure that Andre will keep his end of the bargain. Once she does her part, she can’t go back on it. Andre, on the other hand, could easily double-cross Hope. Still, this is Hope’s only shot at offering Rafe and Roman protection.
Andre will likely give Hope his word. It may not be worth much, but Hope will just have to take it. Days spoilers indicate that Hope will also keep her own promise. She’ll worry about leaving Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), but there’s nothing she can do. It’s time to pay the price.
Sadly, the prosecutor will want to make an example out of Hope. It seems he has no use for dirty cops. If he only knew how many crimes the Salem PD has been sweeping under the rug lately. This department is far from squeaky clean.
Hope will learn that the prosecutor is pushing for the death penalty. DOOL spoilers state that Justin (Wally Kurth) will fight to get it taken off the table. He’ll insist that it’s ridiculous under the circumstances. Hope was out of her mind with grief when she went after Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
The prosecutor won’t have any sympathy for a detective who gunned down an elderly man in a wheelchair. The fact that Hope let someone else go to jail for the crime makes it even worse. Let’s not be too hard on Hope though. Stefano was no saint. He targeted Hope and her family for decades.
Nevertheless, a crime was committed and there’s a sentence to be served. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope will don an orange jumpsuit and head to her cell. She’ll be full of regret, but that won’t change anything. Hope will be forced to face her punishment.
Luckily, Rafe will refuse to let Andre win. He’ll ask Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) to help him get Hope out of this mess. They’ll put their heads together to come up with a plan.
