Kate Middleton Furious: Denmark’s Princess Mary Australian Vogue Feature More Glamorous?

Kate Middleton Furious: Denmark's Princess Mary Australian Vogue Feature More Glamorous?

Kate Middleton is no longer the only Royal to be featured on the cover of Vogue. Princess Mary of Denmark will grace the cover of the August issue of Australian Vogue. Will Kate be furious and wish she had gone with a more sophisticated look?

The cover photo of Mary with her husband Prince Frederik is very glamorous, unlike the Duchess of Cambridge’s which was more relaxed and casual.

Princess Mary of Denmark is dressed in a gorgeous full-length sleeveless black gown which is more beautiful than anything Kate Middleton has worn recently. Denmark’s Royal couple has their arms around each other – both are smiling and look very much in love.

Not only is Mary’s cover of Vogue more sophisticated, the inside feature is family-oriented where Kate’s was all about, well….Kate.

Frederik and Mary’s feature for Australian Vogue includes a photo of Princess Mary and Prince Frederik with their four children. The cover is sophisticated but the family photo of Denmark’s Royal Family is very relaxed and casual.

The couple opened up their home at Copenhagen Palace for Mario Testino and he captured Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark in a playful moment with their four children – Prince Christian, 10, Princess Isabella, 9, and five-year-old twins Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent.

Included in part of Australian Vogue’s interview Princess Mary stated, “I find it difficult to speak of myself as a role model, as role models are defined by the individual. It is what they see in a person that gives meaning or inspiration to them that makes another person a role model to them.”

Kate Middleton’s casual British Vogue cover and the 8 photos included in the feature seemed stiff and staged. Why weren’t Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte included in at least one or two of the photos?

Kate Middleton is apparently self-centered according to rumors and had to be the VERY FIRST Royal ever to be featured on the cover of Vogue magazine. Kate couldn’t possibly share the inside feature with her husband and children. Princess Mary of Denmark was happy to share the spotlight with her family. make sure to return to CDL for more Royal news and gossip features.
