Kylie Jenner Addresses Angry Lip Gloss Customers: Takes Break From Coachella

While Kylie Jenner was busy strutting her new wigs at the Coachella Festival, she dealt with the Internet furor over her lip gloss issue. Kylie took time responding to all those dissatisfied customers and offered a resolution.

Tweets from angry customers were answered by Jenner, saying, “So good or bad, I love hearing your feedback. When I saw the problem with my lip gloss brushes I stopped all production and changed it.”

Kylie Jenner’s lip-gloss has been selling out like hotcakes since its release on April 1. Fans have gone crazy over the product, however, after purchasing and using the product, customers were outraged!

Jeffree Star, a well-known make-up artist and fashion designer, took to twitter his rant over the product. Star received his order of two glosses and was very upset with the product’s applicators and said: “So I got the new [KYLIE Cosmetics] lip glosses…. SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable.”

Fans and customers are in the same boat with Star. Those who availed themselves of the product were dismayed about being test subjects of the brand and posted photos on social media of the faulty brush they received.

The brushes in the new glosses basically are distorted and are splitting apart making the product gross. Photos posted by irate customers are proof that the wands are truly unacceptable. One customer, Mallory Colon, compared the applicator to the doll Cynthia from the popular kids show, The Rugrats.

In a Snapchat session, Jenner promised to fix the problem with the wands in future releases. Star, on the other hand, is not satisfied with this promise and said: “So the first customers were just guinea pigs? How is that fair for a consumer to get something shitty and then the next launch its fixed?”

Jenner informed the raging customers that “only a small amount of the old brushes were sold” and that those who had an issue with their applicator will have a replacement. Additionally, Jenner told those who purchased during the product launch on April 1 need not send an email as they will automatically issue a replacement.

Thanks to Jeffree Star’s review on the product which made way for the customers to voice out their complaint as well. In the end, Jeffree Star and Kylie Jenner ended the issue by bonding over their passion for make-up.
