General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) gets a surprising visitor at the PCPD jail and it’s not anyone he expected to see ever again. Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) escaped WSB custody because she’s a tricky gal. Alex could have kept on running once she was loose, but instead she came back for Valentin.
Alex told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that she had real feelings for Valentin but Anna mocked her. Now that Alex knows where Valentin is, she can’t stay away. When Alex comes into the interrogation room, Valentin – like the PCPD cops – thinks she’s Anna and he’s angry. He asks if she’s proud of herself but then the dynamic shifts when she reveals she’s Alex.
Not only is Alex there to see him but General Hospital spoilers hint she’s there with a get out of jail free card for her former lover. Maybe it’s true and Alex really does care about Valentin or maybe it’s because she knows that the only evidence the WSB has on them is what the other one says. Without Alex to testify against him, the WSB might not be able to press charges against Valentin.
But for now, Alex needs to get Valentin out of jail so they can talk. Since Alex looks just like Anna and probably has fake credentials, she should be able to walk him right out the front door of the PCPD. From there, Alex can whisk Valentin away so they can talk things out. Alex definitely owes Valentin an apology for how she did him dirty all those years ago and let him think she was Anna.
It’s also important to note that just before Alex shows up to steal Valentin from the cops, Nina Clay Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) served him with divorce papers. That means that whatever Alex offers, Valentin is technically a free man since his wife kicked him to the curb. General Hospital spoilers hint that Alex is someone who might know Valentin more deeply than anyone else in the world.
Although Alex tricked him, she also knew him well and seduced him even though he was physically disfigured and still a struggling stutterer. Nina thinks she would have loved Valentin no matter what, but Alex is the only woman that made love to Valentin without being paid back when he was still a wretched hunchback.
Once Alex gets Valentin out of the PCPD and to safety, General Hospital spoilers tease she’ll try to seduce him right away. The question is, will Valentin give into the seduction? The last time Alex tried this, while pretending to be Anna, Valentin refused but was sorely tempted. This time, there’s no Nina factor holding him back so this could be explosive.
