The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Rick (Jacob Young) will have to break some bad news to Maya (Karla Mosley). She’ll be stunned when Rick reveals that there’s an issue with Lizzie’s adoption. It seems Maya won’t have any real rights unless Nicole (Reign Edwards) signs another form.
Rick will insist that they can handle this. He knows Nicole’s fertility troubles have created some drama, but he’ll think they can help her get past it. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Maya will try to remain hopeful, but she’ll definitely have concerns. Despite Rick’s reassurance, Maya will fear that she’s going to lose Lizzie.
Later, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will give Julius (Obba Babatunde) updates on the matter. As Nicole and Maya’s father, Julius wants to be involved in their dilemma. He’ll feel like he needs to step up and make things right. Julius will ponder the situation and reach a predictable conclusion.
Nicole will soon be approached about signing the legal document. She’ll be taken aback when she realizes she still has a chance to be Lizzie’s mom. If Nicole refuses to sign this, she could push to share custody with Rick. Nicole will consider the idea, but Rick will do his best to talk her out of it.
B&B spoilers say Rick will beg Nicole to follow through on their agreement. He’ll insist that Maya has raised Lizzie from the beginning. Rick won’t want Nicole to threaten the bond Maya shares with this little girl. Nicole will undoubtedly mention Maya’s hectic work schedule. She’ll argue that Maya isn’t a very attentive mother.
Rick will disagree and the confrontation will rev up from there. Nicole may blame Rick and Maya for all her problems. If they hadn’t asked about a surrogacy, the thought never would’ve crossed her mind. Nicole would probably be pregnant with Zende’s (Rome Flynn) baby right now.
Speaking of Zende, he’ll get tangled up in the mayhem eventually. It appears Zende and Nicole will clash over how to tackle this mess. Of course, Julius will voice his opinion as well. Maya won’t be pleased when her dad sides with Nicole.
