The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will struggle with her feelings. She still loves Cane (Daniel Goddard), but his actions were simply inexcusable. Lily will feel like Cane’s poor choices are going to haunt their family forever.
Since Juliet (Laur Allen) is having Cane’s baby, that should make it even tougher to forget his string of betrayals. Meanwhile, Lily and Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) bond will grow stronger. They’re building on a solid friendship and they’re moving at a slow pace. That’s a good combo when you’re working toward a romance.
As Cane and Juliet connect over their child’s impending birth, Lily may insist that they should all move on. She’ll battle some jealousy, but Jordan might be able to take her mind off it. However, Jordan’s hiding things that could come back to bite him. He told Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) he had concerns about keeping his past under wraps.
The Young and the Restless spoilers warn some deep, dark secret will blow up in Jordan’s face If it’s significant enough, Lily may want rid of him. Of course, there’s also a chance that Jordan will turn out to be a creep in the present. Let’s face it: Jordan isn’t the most engaging character in the world. This guy’s pretty dull and that may mean he has an expiration date on the CBS soap.
Since Jordan is still kind of a blank slate, The Young and the Restless can do whatever they want with him. They could use his dirty little secrets or have him resume his shady path. Lily may regret getting involved with Jordan down the road.
Even if Jordan stays on the straight and narrow, it’s hard to believe Lily will walk away from Cane for good. Cane and Lily have a devoted fan base, so Y&R tends to bring them back together after their rough patches. It probably won’t be long until Lily’s feelings for Cane become difficult to bear.
Will Lily decide she wants Cane when it’s too late? It’s clear that Juliet is trying to sink her hooks into the doting daddy. She’ll have even more leverage once their son is born. The Young and the Restless could easily make Juliet and Cane a real couple.
Would Cane change his tune if Lily opened her heart again? How will their family cope with the new baby? It sounds like we’ll see a huge mess in the coming months.
