Dancing With the Stars Season 12 – Week Six Recap

Last week the ballroom said goodbye to Petra Nemcova. Now seven couples remain.  Last week we saw Americana week this week it is Guilty pleasures week.  These are songs we sing in the shower and car with the windows closed.  This should be a lot of fun!

The first couple up is Kirstie Alley and Professional Dance Partner, Maks Chmerkovskiy dancing the Samba to Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney SpearsCarrie Ann said, you are back! From week 1 we saw incredible potential. This is the way we saw you week one and I want to see you in the finals. Bruno said, you delivered the most smooth dance as if you were born too it. Len said, tonight you fill the potential I saw first week. Score: Carrie Ann, 8 Bruno, 9 Len, 9 Total: 26

Chris Jericho and Professional Dance Partner, Cheryl Burke are dancing The Tango to Don’t Stop Believing by JourneyBruno said, you turned into a lump of granite you lost timing, everyone has a bad night. It did not happen tonight. Carrie Ann said, on some levels she agrees with Bruno she feels the pressure got to him but it was not exciting, Len said, the tango is not fun dance and he feels Carrie Ann and Bruno were off not Chris. Len said, He felt the footwork was good and overall felt it was an excellent job.  Score: Carrie Ann, 7 Bruno, 7 Len, 8 Total: 22

Romeo and Professional Dancer, Chelsie Hightower dancing the Waltz to the theme song from the Titanic. Carrie Ann said, that was magical, something amazing is happening with you – you have your own unique style. Len said, you come out with a waltz that has a romance and poignant and I commend you. Bruno said, your ship will sail on and on and on you achieved a new level of finesse. We loved it!  Score: Carrie Ann, 10 Bruno, 9 Len, 9 Total: 28.  The first 10 of the season!

Chelsea Kane and Professional Dancer, Mark Ballas are going to dance the Quick Step to Walking On Sunshine. Len said, You managed to fuse high energy with control. Not an easy thing to do. Well done! Bruno said, you had so much zest.  You managed very very well. A splendid performance! Carrie Ann said, Sometimes magic happens twice. It was a difficult routine great!  Score: Carrie Ann, 10 Bruno, 9 Len, 9 Total: 28.  The first 10 of the season!

Kendra Wilkinson and Professional Dance Partner, Louis Van Amstel dancing The Samba to Livin La Vida Loca. Carrie Ann said, she has to recover – she said that dance was a guilty pleasure. You can shimmy. Len said, the more you gyrated the more I palpitated, well done! Bruno said, we present the attack of the stripper, you got me!  Score: Carrie Ann, 8 Bruno, 9 Len, 8 Total: 25.

Hines Ward and Professional Dancer, Kym Johnson dancing The Viennese Waltz to End of The RoadCarrie Ann said, an excellent performance but she felt he was thinking too much and we don’t want to see that.  Len said, he is becoming the mvp he is a great dancer unfortunately his flat footed buts a performer it is really good.  Bruno said, as a performer it is ure pleasure and he hs great chemistry with Kim.  Score: Carrie Ann, 9 Bruno, 9 Len, 9 Total: 27.

Ralph Macchio and Professional Dance Partner, Karina Smirnoff dancing the Paso Doble to Everybody Dance NowBruno said, he knew there was an incident, but he started to feel the fire, he recovered well.  Carrie Ann said, she was very proud of him, the way he got back put the rest of the dance to shame.  Len said, he congratulates him he pulled Karina up and did not mess about but got back into the dance.  He is proud of him.  Score: Carrie Ann, 8 Bruno, 8 Len, 8 Total: 24.
