Jennifer Lawrence is the reason that Chris Martin is retiring from music! Chris Martin has surprised fans everywhere by admitting that their next Coldplay album will also be their LAST Coldplay album. Whatttt?! Understandably, fans are shocked, especially since Coldplay has been on top of the world recently. Hit single after hit single, hit album after hit album, sold out concert after sold out concert – what could have possibly convinced them to give it up?
Well, rumors are already starting about how certain members of the band [cough, Chris Martin, cough] have been having personal [read: relationship] issues, and need some time off to go sort it out. First of all, Chris Martin still needs to sort out his divorce situation with Gwyneth Paltrow, especially as it’s affecting all of his other relationships. I mean, Chris Martin honestly should be smart enough to realize by now that Gwyneth is playing games with him, and no matter his obligation to her or their family, he either needs to get back together with her or make the boundaries clearer.
Our sources are also telling us that Chris Martin’s relationship with Jennifer Lawrence is currently surviving on tenterhooks, with JLaw threatening to leave every chance she gets. She already tried breaking up with Chris once, but he managed to woo her back by promising her that things would be different. Unfortunately, with Coldplay and his ex-wife taking up all of his time, Chris Martin didn’t exactly have time to devote to Jennifer.
Anyhow, sources add that part of Chris’ decision to step back from Coldplay – take a break, quitting, whatever you want to call it – comes from his desire to keep Jennifer from going back to Nicholas Hoult, her ex-boyfriend [and in my opinion, a far better dating option than Chris Martin].
