The feud between Rick Ross and 50 Cent has been blowing up for a few days and now more rappers are getting involved. 50 Cent has taken shots at Meek Mill, one of the rappers on Ross’ Maybach Music Group label, about his annihilation in a recent feud that Meek started with Drake. To make matters worse, Wale and Meek seem to be beefing with each other and they aremates.
It looks like Rick Ross has a huge mess on his hands right now and an album about to drop. How will the “B.M.F.” rapper deal with all the feuding, drama and promoting new music all in the wake of his huge split from ex-fiance Lira Galore?
To sum it up so far, Ross and 50 Cent started throwing barbs back and forth (again) a few days ago after the “In Da Club” rapper posted a picture of Rick Ross’ tattooed chest on a t-shirt and then offered it up for sale for a measly $2.95. Rick Ross hit back hard and took shots at 50 Cent for the Bankruptcy filing he is in the middle of and the $5 million lawsuit he lost to Rick’s baby mama.
That’s when Rick Ross took a huge shot at 50 Cent and proved that nothing is off limits. The Maybach Music Group owner posted a picture of several cars that we assume he owns and then captioned it with this message: “@50cent your son applied to be a intern at @untouchablemmg and it Will be processed. As you well know I got 40 cars/200 acres and a mower w/ his name on it. #ImWhatYouUsedToBe #BLACKMARKET Dec.4.”
50 Cent responded in a message that has since been deleted from Instagram. He posted a picture of an upset looking Rick Ross with this caption, “This is how you look 👀 when DRAKE DID YA MAN DIRTY. LMAO THIS IS THE NEW OFFICIAL MMG EMOJI 😶 look but don’t say nothing. Yal all 🍑. #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO via @50cent.”
It’s unclear why the “P.I.M.P” rapper may have deleted the post, unless he just didn’t want to look at Rick Ross’ face on his Instagram page all the time. Either that or 50 Cent realized that taking a shot at Meek Mill is pretty cheap. Drake already killed any hip hip cred that Meek Mill had when they were feuding and he’s really just an easy target.
Rick Ross responded to the jab on Twitter. The rapper tweeted, “Haaa i been waiting on @50cent to come c me for years now..size uniform you and Marquise wear boi? The countdown has begun….#BLACKMARKET.” Ross keeps referring to the fact that 50 Cent is claiming to be broke (although there’s a really good chance he’s not at all) and offering to hire the Effen Vodka peddling rapper and his son.
Another post was made to insult Rick Ross. This time it was a picture of a child wearing an “MMG” gold chain. 50 Cent was referencing Ross’ rumored chain snatching from back in 2010. The caption said, “When yal gonna get the chain back man ☕️🐸 LMAO. I Know you been busy,you just didn’t get around to it. 😆#EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO.” This time, 50 Cent left the message and photo on his page.
On top of all the drama with 50 Cent, Rick Ross is dealing with the growing feud between two rappers on his own Maybach Music Group label. Meek Mill has been taking shots at Wale. It’s been a couple weeks now since Meek went after Wale on Instagram because he was upset about his label mate’s comments on Meek Mill’s feud with Drake.
Meek Mill and Wale have been trading barbs back and forth on social media with no end in sight. The “Matrimony” rapper has said that Meek took a “pencil to a gunfight” in a recent interview. A very unhappy Meek Mill responded to Wale’s interview diss with an Instagram post of his own. Meek posted a photo of himself and said, “Can’t b family if it’s gotta b all about you! #MMG X #DC minus the f#%kboy” in regard to Wale.
Rick Ross has his hands full right now with getting the artists on his label to stop dissing each other on top of the ongoing 50 Cent feud. His rap rival is obviously eating it all up and paying close attention to the cracks within the Maybach Music Group roster. Will the feuding die down soon?
