Ronda Rousey Emerges with Boyfriend Travis Browne: Terrified of Holly Holm Rematch After Face Destroyed (PHOTOS)

Ronda Rousey finally emerged with her boyfriend, Travis Browne, after her severe beating. Reports suggest Rousey is terrified of a Holly Holm rematch after her face was destroyed. CDL has the photos of Ronda returning to the public without hiding her face.

The UFC fighter is back at the gym and shared some PDA with Browne after nursing her split lip over the past month. Holm delivered the face-crushing kick during The UFC 193 match. Labeled as “the greatest upset in UFC history,” Holly’s left foot kick to the face delivered Rousey’s first defeat. Holly Holm effectively took the UFC star out less than a minute into the second round.

Since the defeat and kick that destroyed Ronda’s face, the fighter was said to be battling depression after being hospitalized. Rousey’s most loyal supporters sent condolences, but most UFC fans went on the attack after witnessing Ronda’s low-class and trashy attitude.

Ronda cussed at Holly before the fight, did an unreasonable amount of trash talking, and then refused to participate in a show of good sportsmanship, backing away from Holm’s outstretched gloves.

Whether it was being knocked out in the second round, suffering from her face being destroyed, or being embarrassed by her immature behavior, Ronda Rousey hid her face and essentially went into hiding. A rematch was scheduled for March 20, 2016, but Ronda told ESPN, “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”

Rousey also discussed her boyfriend, Travis Browne, being her rock and support after the embarrassing defeat by Holm. Ronda explained, “I’m finally happy with somebody that respects me and cares about me,” adding, “Even when everyone thinks the world of me, I still go to bed anxious and freaking out because I’m afraid of everything. The only time I’ve gotten a reprieve from that [feeling] in my life is since I’ve been with him.”

Earlier this week, Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White announced the date of Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm’s rematch as July 9. This will be Holly’s first fight as UFC women’s bantamweight champion, but her manager isn’t convinced Ronda is ready stating, “She (Rousey) took a severe beating and I don’t think it’s in her best interest to take the next fight so fast.”

The manager might be right. Beyond the brutal left kick that ended Ronda’s fight less than a minute into the second round, Rousey claims she might have sustained a concussion earlier in the fight. “It was like a dumbed-down dreamy version of yourself making decisions. … I was just trying to shake myself out of it. I kept saying to myself, ‘You’re OK, keep fighting. You’re OK, keep fighting.’” It wouldn’t be a surprise if Ronda is terrified of a rematch.
