Tom Cruise is on the prowl and searching for a new wife…again. Cruise has been single and desperate to mingle since his divorce from Katie Holmes in 2012. After Tom and Katie’s marriage was over, he famously began interviewing women for the open wife position until Vanity Fair published a story exposing his casting calls for a new Mrs. Cruise. Vanity Fair revealed that Cruise’s people were literally bringing in women and interviewing them as if it were a job position, and Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson were at the top of the list of prospects.
According to the April 13th edition of OK! Magazine, Tom Cruise is ready to try his luck at finding a wife again. OK! reports that the actor Tom has assigned his team the task of finding him love and according to their inside source, “Tom was nervous about dating after the controversy over his previous search for a wife, but he is tired of being alone.” His team recently set him up with British actress Katherine Waterston and the couple have gone on a few dates, but Tom doesn’t think that she is Mrs. Cruise material. OK! Magazine’s insider explained, “Tom is not sure that she is the one that he can step out with and make a public declaration.”
Tom Cruise has ridiculously high expectations for his wives – his exes Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes will be the first to tell you that, and his chauvinistic behavior towards women is rumored to be the reason behind his divorces. The fact that he literally held a casting call for his next wife only supports the rumors that he considers women property and not people. So, if you are interested in applying for the position of an egotistical actor with ridiculously high expectations and want to be treated like a piece of property, then you’re in luck because Cruise’s team is currently holding auditions!
