Ben Affleck has moved out of Jennifer Garner’s family home. New reports indicate that a moving truck was spotted near Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s home on Monday, May 1 with a lot of fans wondering if Ben will go back to his old, partying ways now that he’s a divorced dad.
According to E! News, Ben will be living just down the street from his soon-to-be ex wife Jennifer Garner and their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. The couple announced their separation back in June 2015 but didn’t file for divorce until last month.
One source close to the situation told the site, “He found a house close by. They are both excited for the next step and they are happy that they have two loving homes for the kids. Their relationship is fluid and nothing has really changed. They have been working at their relationship for the past few years now.”
For the longest time we all believed that Jennifer and Ben were working on their marriage. They were living together but separately. After all, they were often spotted hanging out, picking up their kids from school and going on vacation as a family with their three children. What’s more, Ben was living under the same roof with Jennifer this entire time.
But, apparently Jennifer kept Ben close by to support him during his stay in rehab. Ben admitted that he’s been struggling with his demons and his alcohol abuse problems and back in 2015 that Ben allegedly had an affair with his children’s nanny. He denied it, but still a lot of people couldn’t help but wonder why Jennifer allowed Ben to live in their family home.
Then again, no one knows what has been going on behind closed doors with Jennifer and Ben. Jennifer could have tried to make their marriage work for the sake of their children or their public image and careers. Ben, on the other hand, might have had no other choice. But now that they are going their separate ways, it’s pretty clear that they are going to continue to keep things civil as co-parents and nothing else. There are no sparks left in their marriage. But that’s no secret there.
