Jennifer Garner may have filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, but she’s apparently still trying to make him jealous by flirting with another man – her co-star, Josh Duhamel.
Jennifer and Josh are working together on the coming-of-age drama ‘Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda’ in Atlanta right now, and according to a report from the National Enquirer, the two co-stars have grown very close. The Enquirer’s source claims, “Josh is making her see things in a whole new light, but Ben insanely jealous, because Josh is even better looking than he is.”
The source also adds, “[Jennifer has started] ramping up her flirting with Josh because she gets a thrill out of making Ben jealous.” It’s not clear whether Josh Duhamel is receptive to this flirting or whether he’s oblivious, but it should be pointed out that he’s married to Fergie and has been for quite some time.
It’s not a fact that Jennifer Garner would be unaware of, and given Ben Affleck’s nanny drama and wandering eye, it’s difficult to imagine Jennifer purposefully putting another woman through what she went through with her (now) ex-husband.
However, it’s very easy to imagine Ben Affleck getting possessive and jealous, even though their separation is all but official now. He and Jennifer are clearly still talking regularly, and the two did try for more than a year to reconcile and get back together. He may have screwed it up with his inability to get his life together and deal with his substance abuse issues, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t still have feelings for Jennifer.
Other people have said this before, and we’ll repeat it: Ben Affleck is Ben Affleck’s worse enemy. He self-sabotages his own chances at redemption, and then seems to get a thrill out of climbing out from the hole he dug himself in. This time, it’s too late – whether Jennifer Garner is flirting with Josh Duhamel or whether she begins dating someone new, there is absolutely nothing he can do.
