Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, December 20, tease that we’ll see a very special episode of the NBC soap. DOOL intends to dive deep into JJ’s (Casey Moss) grief and guilt. They’ll focus on how Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) shooting has driven JJ to his breaking point, so you should definitely be prepared for some crushing moments.
JJ will reflect on the past, which will bring both positive and negative memories. He’ll remember some good times with his family, but he’ll also recall plenty of times where he was a disappointment. JJ was a pretty unruly teenager, so he caused serious drama for Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). He’ll believe he let Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Abigail (Marci Miller) down, too.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say JJ will feel like he’s more trouble than he’s worth. Naturally, Theo’s condition will be what upsets him the most. The new procedure didn’t work, so JJ fears Theo will never wake up. He can’t handle the idea of taking a young man’s life, so he’ll decide to take his own.
JJ will move forward with a plan to commit suicide, so expect some tough tasks. For starters, JJ will write emotional letters to his friends and family members. Days spoilers say he’ll explain why they’ll be better off without him. Later, JJ will make one last call to Jennifer. He’ll let his mom know that he loves her before he bids her farewell.
Jennifer will immediately grow concerned about JJ’s intentions. She may send Eric (Greg Vaughan) or rush over herself. However, JJ will get help from another familiar face first. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jack will appear to JJ in a vision. He’ll have a heartfelt chat with his son and ultimately change his mind about sticking around. Thankfully, JJ won’t be needing his loaded gun after all.
DOOL’s head writer, Ron Carlivati, promises this is a can’t-miss episode. Carlivati tweeted, “Of course I want you guys to watch every day, but trust me, you don’t want to miss this Wednesday’s episode of @nbcdays!”
