General Hospital (GH) spoilers from an inside source reveal that Serena Baldwin is back soon and the original actress will be in the role. Carly Schroeder is reported to be back soon to Port Charles and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be thrilled to have his daughter back – particularly since he’s got a lot of trouble heading his way.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is hot on Scott’s trail and let the former Port Chuck DA know that he’s onto him for what he did to help cover up Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) crimes. It’s one thing for Scott to protect information on Ava’s actions swapping Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds. That falls under attorney-client privilege.
But what doesn’t fall under that privilege is Scott conspiring to help cover up her crime. That’s obstruction of justice and could even be described as conspiracy. General Hospital fans know Scott has always fallen into a gray area when it comes to his activities. Scott goes above and beyond to make sure his clients walk free of criminal charges, but he’s on the wrong side of the law this time.
It’s pretty ironic since Scott was always hypercritical of criminals like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when he was the Port Charles District Attorney. But now General Hospital spoilers say Scott is in trouble and his beloved daughter could be back in town just in time to see his downfall. Scott will hate for Serena to see him behind bars, but that seems to be what’s coming.
There have been lingering spoilers for months that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) would lure Serena back to town to help her wreck the blossoming romance between Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). That GH plot seems to have fallen off the radar because Kevin and Laura are going on vacation soon and will then move in together.
But Serena will have another story that embroils her with her father and no doubt Lucy will be part of her story since both will be thrilled to see Serena back in Port Charles. But will Serena enjoy a romance while in town? It doesn’t seem likely since General Hospital spoilers reveal that Serena is reported to be returning for a very short stint. She will not be a contract player or recurring.
Given her dad’s upcoming legal problems, it seems very likely her story will be tethered to Scott’s upcoming story. Scott is off the rails in panic. Dante has threatened to dig up the truth and Scott knows that Dante will go back to Sonny with whatever he finds. Scott is worried about losing his law license and reputation – but more worried about Sonny.
Scott well knows how Sonny deals with enemies and there is no love lost between the two. Scott doesn’t feel too bad for Sonny, even though Sonny lost Morgan. That’s because Sonny contributed to the death of Karen Wexler, Scott’s daughter, when Sonny got her hooked on drugs so she’d keep stripping at his exotic dance club back in the day.
