The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that some huge changes are brewing in the romance department. Several relationships could face destruction in the months ahead, so it’s a good idea to be prepared and know what to expect. Let’s consider five couple shakeups that will most likely play out in 2019.
1. Brooke ditches Ridge for Bill
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been putting up with Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) antics, but will that trend continue? Ridge cut funding on Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) line, influenced the outcome of a custody battle and nearly killed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) by shoving him off a balcony. If Ridge once again does something to cross Brooke, it may mean the end of “Bridge.”
That’s especially true since Bill is so eager to get back together. He’s sticking to his “changed man” claims and hoping he can play the long game. Bill believes Ridge will screw up enough to sabotage himself at some point. Since he’s probably right, it may not be long until Brooke and Bill are an item again.
2. Ridge inches back toward Taylor
There’s no guarantee Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) will reunite romantically, but it seems like a no-brainer. Ridge and Taylor have shared some nice moments since she’s been back in town. He’ll need a love interest when things inevitably fall apart with Brooke.
Plus, Taylor’s involved with Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), who’s clearly more interested in her money than her as a person. Ridge may get wrapped up in all that Bold and the Beautiful drama eventually. It could lead to a Ridge and Taylor reboot, which might be an interesting option.
3. Katie and Thorne get a divorce
Since Ingo Rademacher didn’t renew his contract, Thorne Forrester’s on his way out the door. Katie Forrester (Heather Tom) may opt for a divorce in the near future. This marriage only happened because of the custody battle anyway. They really weren’t at that stage of their relationship yet, so it’ll be easy for B&B to tear them apart.
4. Hope and Liam’s marriage falls apart
This is another couple where a split seems inevitable. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) expects to bring home a brand-new baby girl with Hope, but they may become the victims of Reese’s scheme. It appears their daughter’s death may be faked as part of an illegal adoption plot.
If so, the loss could be too much for “Lope’s” fragile marriage to take. The baby was why they rushed into this marriage, so it makes sense for them to crumble without that glue. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Liam have major heartbreak ahead, so stay tuned.
5. Steffy reunites with Liam
The show doesn’t like to leave Liam single for long, so a reunion with Steffy can’t be too far off. It may not happen right away, but it’s logical to think they’ll drift back together after Liam’s marriage to Hope explodes. If Steffy inadvertently adopts Hope’s presumed dead baby, this situation could get messy!
