Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is done playing EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) games and getting further entangled in a situation that could hurt his family.
Johnny knows he has to put Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and the kids above all else, so he’s ready to take a huge risk.
As Johnny wrestled with his next move, he opened up to Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) in Days’ September 29 episode.
Sydney was horrified at the idea of Johnny snitching on EJ and urged him not to go to the police.
Later, Johnny chose to skip the Salem PD and go straight to the FBI instead!
After dialing Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) number, Johnny insisted he needed to see him right away.
Of course, “right away” can still take some time on a soap, so Johnny won’t spill to Rafe until DOOL’s October 2 episode.
That’s when Johnny plans to tell Rafe the whole ugly Coriseal story and hope his former stepdad can help him.
Johnny got caught up in something he didn’t want to be part of, so now he desperately wants out.
Although Johnny is risking prison, he’s hoping that he can earn some leniency by coming forward with everything he knows.
Sydney doesn’t want Johnny to throw EJ under the bus, but Johnny doesn’t see any other way to stop his dad’s destruction.
The longer this goes on, the more crimes EJ’s going to commit in the name of protecting the DiMera family and company.
EJ is willing to hurt almost anyone outside the family if it means keeping all his shady secrets under wraps.
Days spoilers say Johnny will expose those secrets to Rafe soon enough and wonder if there’s a way out of this nightmare.
Rafe may acknowledge that EJ is a much bigger fish for the FBI than Johnny.
If Johnny can help take EJ down, Rafe might even be able to arrange immunity for him.
However, Rafe may need Johnny to take things a step further than just divulging scandalous news on EJ’s criminal activities.
Days fans know EJ has made it incredibly difficult to get evidence against him, so Rafe may insist Johnny needs to pitch in on that, too.
Johnny could end up wearing a wire and trying to get EJ to admit all his crimes during an FBI trap.
Unfortunately, the plan could go wrong if EJ gets tipped off to what’s going on.
Since Sydney will slip up somehow on October 2, she might accidentally blurt out something that leaves EJ highly suspicious of Johnny.
