General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) has a big surprise in her future. GH fans know Trina got a hit through an ancestry site, so there’s some unidentified Port Charles relative in town. There’s been some speculation about Trina being related to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), which could certainly be the case.
However, Watson’s busy with other projects and may not have enough time to devote to this story. It might be better to focus on another angle here. After Ava Jerome (Maura West) gave Trina a bonus for her hard work at the auction, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) ended up tracking Trina down. He was curious if Ava had bought Trina’s silence after her run-in with the mystery man in the backroom.
That wasn’t true since Trina didn’t see Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) face, but that wasn’t really the point of the scene anyway. The true point seemed to be establishing a little feud between Curtis and Trina – one that was very reminiscent of a father dealing with his teenage daughter! Could Trina be a long-lost child that Curtis never knew he had?
Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) have touched on the possibility of having kids, but they tabled the discussion due to Jordan’s kidney transplant recovery and the medical debt that piled up. Perhaps an easier route to a child would be just giving Curtis one that’s already almost grown.
Trina definitely has some of the same qualities as Curtis. She wasn’t rattled by his grilling session at all. Trina’s got that same cool head and confidence that Curtis has. She always knows what’s up! During their chat, Trina picked up her phone and prompted a complaint from Curtis. He was quick to suggest it was a problem for Trina’s generation, but she fired back, “I’m not a generation. I’m me.”
Doesn’t that just seem like such a daddy-daughter moment? It could be a possible route for this storyline based on what GH has set up. General Hospital spoilers say Curtis could use a story – and Trina could use a great dad like Curtis! It’d be fun to watch these two get to know each other better.
